This is a simple leather sleeve that fits the Benchmade Tengu Flipper, or any other similarly sized knife. This version of the sheath features a steel pocket clip, for ease of access.
The sleeve is a comfortable way to keep your knife safe in your pocket, as the tengu and most other slip-joint knives do not have pocket clips.
You have the option of a silver or black spring steel pocket clip, or an ulticlip locking clip.
Each standard sleeve is made of 3-4 ounce napa cowhide, 3-4 ounce Horween Chromexel or Dublin, or 2-3 Herman Oak. The 2-3 ounce leathers are a bit less supple than the napa leathers, so we use a 2-3 ounce leather instead of 3-4 ounce to keep them pliable. This does not effect the strength or longevity of the slip.
