This is a special bifold wallet, with the outer layer made of a panel of gray elephant leather.
Elephant leather is understandably rare. It features deep wrinkles and a lot of character. It is a very tough but supple leather that only gets better with age.
The interior of this wallet is made out of black Pueblo leather from the Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy. The entire wallet is hand burnished with tokonole to highlight the grain of the edge of both the elephant and Pueblo leathers.
Due to the nature of the leather, this is a very rare wallet, and it is unlikely that another just like it will be made any time soon.
