Duelist’s Cape

These are simple short capes made out of a medium weight wool blend. They are a perfect weight for use in the off hand in fencing, or for adding a dashing look to your renaissance outfit.

Each cape is a half circle, with a 3″ wide collar and leather tie closure. Each cape comes with a 60″ leather lace to tie it over one shoulder, but it can easily be cinched tighter to be worn more traditionally if you’d like.

The body of these cloaks are made as single piece of fabric.

You have several standard color options for the main body and for a contrasting collar. Many other options are available, feel free to message me if you have something in mind.

You now have the option of getting your cape in 30″ or 40″ length, be sure to measure from your collar down to see which size is preferable to you.

The bottoms of these capes are unhemmed, but serged. This helps the cape drape and flow better than if they were fully hemmed along the bottom. We can always hem the bottom if you’d like, so feel free to let us know in the order notes if you’d like yours hemmed and we will hem it for no extra charge.
