Popov Satchel (just fyi if you are curious — leather is a combination tanned leather from Seidel made to Popov’s specs).
Attach claw clips to strap ends. Use natural brass/gold tone (most of my bags have that, I know it doesn’t match the Popov bag).
Shorten so max length is 40” when attached with the other end of Conway strap. Probably shorten from clip side of the long end.
Add a few holes on the long strap side so I can adjust the strap more.
Btw the Conway strap is really cool, my first strap that buckles that way.
Would it be hard to replace the button snap with a loxx closure?
Black & Brown Slider Straps – shorten to max 40” end to end including hardware. ( I bought these 2 slider straps for $11 ea during Parker Clay’s warehouse sale!! They are $45 now that the sale is over.)
2-ply Wide Natural Dublin Shoulder Strap — shorten to 20-21 inches end to end including hardware. I don’t know if there’s anything fun I could do with the extra leather…seems too thick for anything. (Really almost too thick for a strap…)
Fun Yellow Utica Tassel – can you attach a clip to it? (Stitch or otherwise fasten the leather into a small loop with a brass/gold tone clip like you did for the small chestnut floral tassel.) it had a long loop that I cut to try to do something with.
Floral Dublin Keychain – fix snap.
NEW THINGS TO MAKE
wristlet strap in the floral Dublin. Probably a thin one like you made for Lori, as thinking I will use it with the key pouch.
maybe a thicker wristlet strap in Natural Dublin? Do you have the belting weight natural Dublin?
Summary for Range Natural Dublin belting weight buckle adjustable strap:
shorten to 40”-41”
make sure buckle doesn’t rest on shoulder when adjusted.
Leave enough “tail” at end so it goes through any keeper hardware.
Replace antique brass hardware with natural brass/gold tone.
